She has piles of paper currency and a very casual view on fire safety.
I don't her money is long for this world.

Bathing in a pond, smoking used, wet cigarettes, eating raw eggs straight from the chicken-servant source, hoarding money... least unhinged chapter so far.

Which means her "part-time job" is gonna be bonkers. My bet is... soapland girl in ugly bastard neighborhood.
Did you skip last chapter? We saw (probably one of) her part time job there.

I understand it now. Her magic is making riches, and it’s her purpose for the longest time of her life.

For some reason, she lost that part of the memory, but the life purpose remains. However, without memories of being a witch, she is unable to create money with alchemy, so she chooses to “earn” money in the most straightforward way she knew, by taking up as many small part-time jobs as she could (it’s also probably why she doesn’t do any long term investments, because she doesn’t think of anything beyond that). But (there’s another twist here) she doesn’t have a purpose with the money. She only knows that she thrives in the purpose of making more money, and whatever happens after that is not important. That is likely why she doesn’t fear bringing fire in her tent of money. It’s because she just doesn’t care. (I don’t think she wouldn’t have the common sense of flammable things.)

Hopefully things may get better in the second part, perhaps Tama would meet her at one of her jobs.

Also, the art is as stunning as ever, and the amount of detail in each panel is insane. I am very much looking forward to the next time this updates.

Amnesia it is, then.
Which works with "purity/innocence" as well.

And her making money so obsessively would be due to it being so central to her person, given the Treasure Tent. She's still all about making money, but doesn't remember how she used to do it - and since she's seemingly hording it all, it really is the "making money" that's the focus. She just does it via working for pay, because even if she still has magic (the hair curling trick was kinda neat), she doesn't "understand" / remember she's using magic.

I hope she reconnects with the others and has a happy ending. NO BAD ENDINGS for any of these witches, please.

Thanks for the TL work as always.
My thoughts similarly. I imagine also, considering the direction of the series so far, we're going to see some tragic moment wherein she is desperately attempting to stockpile money for some big issue. Wonder if she imposed the amnesia onto herself, because she went too far in using her magic, resulting in gold inflation, and something tragic happens because of that.

Or maybe just classic head trauma, she does have that 'shine' on her forehead that looks quite like a crack

Plus, head injuries can lead to things like memory issues, whilst still leaving stuff like "muscle memory" intact.
Given witches have clearly been hunted, and her specific magical abilities would have been .....rather "coveted" by greedy humans, her being attacked (or worse) for her powers would make sense, with her escaping and hiding but having suffered in the process, leading to her addled state now where she continues her old habits but in a distorted manner.

Self-imposed amnesia would be interesting, though. Some sort of incident wherein she herself was the cause of a huge issue, even if through her attempts to help, also has a lot of potential - though I admit my brain immediately went to "she tried to help hide fellow witches and used her ability to bribe humans to help them, only to be double crossed and those witches captured - and she forces herself to forget it all, including the "means by which she tried to help", to prevent the same issue from arising again".
Which honestly sounds godawful but also possible given what we saw Mode-chan go through with her animal friends, so.

Oh no I now fear whatever happened to her that made her forget being a witch and her magic, and apparently devolp a deep obsession with money cause that's a cave of wonders if I've ever seen one

Have a nice day

Before, she was obsessed with Making MONEY, now, it's MAKING Money.

Considering what we've seen and what was then discussed here, one can say this won't end with bad endings.

They've already barely survived their bad endings, this is their struggle to redemption, and onwards to hopefully a brighter future.
