The number of chapters isn't a lot but the pacing was solid, the jumps weren't disorienting or hard to follow, and it was amazing to see a villainess MC actually toe the line between good deeds and horror! The art was so good! 10 out of 10, would read again. This was the most satisfying binge I've done in a looooong while.

One of the greatest stories I've read. The ending was especially moving.

Personally, I would like more elaboration on details, but I think it didn’t want to overstay its welcome. Kinda hard to balance these. Overall, a very good read. Emi did everything right but that didn’t guarantee the good outcome because she’s realistically a normal girl who didn’t know how to handle shrewd bitches like Pina or her “friend”. Even for Pina, she had the brain to utilize premium items and was able to persuade multiple people to her side, instead of relying on enforced fate I’ve seen in many of isekai/reincarnation genre.
And man did I ugly cry throughout the parts of Emi and Remi. Too bad all good things come to an end 😮‍💨

It's hard to be invested in a story that provide absolutely no challenge to the MC. It's 25 chapters of a huge revenge wankfest following a one-track-mind Mary Sue and 3 chapters of pay off that feels so underwhelming because the antagonist is at best brain damaged, at worse a cartoon character. "Let's get married" she shouted to someone she never met, AFTER he made clear she was not going to have a good time.

It's also super repetitive. Every chapter has the same plot: MC manipulates people, smirks, succeeds, smirks, gets praised, smirks, wanks/schlicks Emi like it's her last day on Earth, repeats. Sometimes, for a change of pace, she kill Gods. Thrilling.

Even the cover art is on the level of a reddit argument. "Too late. I already depicted myself as the calm Chad and you as the pink Wojak".

How is that the best rated villainess story?

Just can't agree with the last comment,a lot of manga nowadays is mid tier as fuck, wrote to read only as some kind of jerk fest or another. This manga takes a beaten to death premise and tweaks a few parts in a way that creates something unique. Then, it emotionally invests you in the one thing that matters - Emi and Remilia's relationship. The last chapter had the 30 year old grown man me bawling like a baby. I can't wait for the anime!

This is mid at best. It feels like it was written by a slighted teenager with megalomania. This is no villainess story. It’s just plain reversal of roles. Oh, I’m so cunning, overpowered, everyone bends to praise me. I’ll save the world. Side characters have more depth than MC.

Although art when it comes to emotions and faces (bodies are low level) is beautiful.

Again, this was the best villainess tropes I've read so far. OG Remilia is absurdly op as it were told in the game on early chapters, and became flawless after being loved so much by Emi.
She did her job well as the twisted, cunning and manipulative villainess.
It so unique to see a villainess with wicked personality uses her op knowledge and abilities for the obsession of loving Emi, which is doing a good thing to create a peaceful world.

Also quite refreshing after read many villainess and isekai/fantasy tropes with FMC, where most of the MCs are either damsel in distress or clueless of what they were doing.

I want people to know this is far from "peak". By the end of the manga, all I got was FRUSTRATION. Wanna know why? Here's a list of things I absolutely hate.

1. The MC is a Mary Sue, literally nothing goes wrong for the MC. Fights? Wins easily. Politics? Everything goes according to plan. Her plans? Somehow always goes in her favor. The only kind of "struggle" I can see is her emotional instability. Even then, it seems like she enjoys that anyway. I'm pretty sure the only time I've seen her in a pitiful state was when she met Emi again in chapter 28. THE FINAL CHAPTER. WHY DID IT TAKE THAT LONG FOR HER TO SHOW SOME KIND OF WEAKNESS? You're not even allowed to try and relate to her, cuz she's written like she's from a fanfiction. It doesn't feel like she's an actual person. The only way you could root for her is if you just really want the villain dead, which brings me to my next point.

2. The villain is WAY TOO ONE-DIMENSIONAL. Other than the fact that the person inside is a reincarnated, we literally know NOTHING about her. She's basically a template. All we know is that she's batshit crazy, and that all she's good for is her acting skills. I got INCREDIBLY angry when in the final chapter, they said that the actual Pina was also watching just like Remilia. WHY DIDN'T WE TRY TO EXPLORE THE MAIN VILLAIN MORE? The original Pina's fate and story was literally written in ONE TEXT BUBBLE. ONE TEXT BUBBLE!!! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!!! Did this get axed or something and I don't know? I would've at least liked to see a chapter or two from the perspective of the villain and the original Pina. That would've made me more interested in them as characters. Sadly, this isn't the universe where that happens.

3. Combine the last two points that I mentioned. This makes it so that the fight these two have is UTTERLY POINTLESS. It has failed dramatically to interest me in any sort of way. There's no tension whatsoever, we all know that the MC is going to win. Who fucking cares? The villain after the first 2 chapters does JACK SHIT. All she does after that is buy clothes and poison some people. You're telling me that I'm supposed to be INVESTED in something like this?? You're telling me this is a 9.5 rated REVENGE MANGA? The revenge part isn't even the good part about it. How am I supposed to enjoy a fight if it's just going to be a one-sided beatdown? It's not worth buying the ticket if the outcome of the match is clear from the beginning. It wasn't even rewarding at the end when they finally expose "Pina".

4. There is way too many fucking characters for how short this manga is. Maybe that's not the fault of the author, but 28 chapters is just way too low for how many people appear. Their screentime is so split apart that getting invested in any of the side characters is just going to make you disappointed in the end. It makes them easily forgettable. Do you remember the dwarves that made the Sacred Armor? How about the original male leads? How about Sofia, that one knight that suddenly appears for some reason? Most of these people just appear for a chapter or 2 and get relegated to the side stories. I think the only ones that doesn't fall in this category is the merchant and the demon king. But that's only because they actually have ample amounts of screentime.

5. "Plot Hole: The Star Maiden Paradox"

The Star Maiden is supposedly the one that will save the world through purification powers, and that they will save the world from destruction. The twist of the story is, that the one that caused the destruction is the reincarnated one inside of her body. Here's a problem. How can one be the cause of destruction, while also being the one that's supposed to save the world? The reason for the Star Maiden appearing originally was that Remilia was going to completely wreck havoc. The thing is that, Emi in the future already should have prevented such things, as Remilia is the catalyst, and she would've changed by then. So why was the "Star Maiden" still needed? Wouldn't it make more sense if Pina didn't even exist? Why have a reincarnated possess the Pina if she's just going to fuck everything up? Are the gods of the world complete idiots? Emi possessing Remilia should've made the need for a Star Maiden completely vanish. Why does Pina or the villain even exist?

If you think I'm hating just to hate, you're dead wrong. This hate is out of passion. This comment is made from the disappointment I felt while reading this. I was heavily invested and interested, as I thought that this would be cinema, from the rating, the premise, and the comments. Alas, I couldn't even cry when I got to the epilogue. The joy of seeing those two meet was overshadowed by the pure anger that came from reading the past 27 chapters. It is quite sad honestly.

If you managed to get this far, I'm not saying it's complete garbage. The world-building is quite detailed, and it makes you wonder more about the world they're in. The art is absolutely superb. Background, and character wise. It does have its good parts.

So, would I recommend it? No. I don't want to see any more people be dissatisfied or disappointed by reading this.
