All I hope (and I feel bad even feeling like I have to voice this) is that Hikari doesn't end up making a love triangle with Haru and Yuu. I kinda get the feeling the author's better than that, or that if she catches feelings, it'll be handled maturely by all of them.

But, things continue looking up. What's more, that was an entire conversation for Haru where she didn't get caught on her voice a single time.

yea it doesn't seem like something kashikaze would do tbh, they do more slice of life type stuff unlike some authors who might prefer sprinkling more drama

I know Kashikaze is using fangs thematically related to potential, even if I can't tell how. Bare your fangs to fight? Hidden aggro warning like a tiger's stripes? Parallel class meta? Cousins?

Since none of those perfectly fit even if I use the more concise terms... A bit of all I guess. Except genetics.

polyam can be in this story and it not be "low drama" love triangle stuff. idk to me they simply had cute blushy chemistry together the whole chapter in the same way the two leads have had. It literally could just be all we see of it and not matter or if it kashikaze did play it out, like pretty sure itd be in the same style as lonely girls cut of angst .

it's also reasonable to want nonromantic female relationships to be normalized more. Not every group of girls needs to suddenly be shoved together like "y'all should kiss and say gex now", simply because they happened to not get in a fight on first sight (or even if they did).

Haru & Yuu can pair up, and Hikari can be a close friend/confidante/comrade in their ongoing endeavors, and that can be good enough and still be perfectly valid. Jumping immediately to "no they should all just date" is just asking for trouble when the author (often enough) can't write it compellingly without things ending up uneven between the various characters, or devolving into the same tired harem-coded stuff all too prevalent already.

but i dont think any of them meant thag itd be better if it was poly am
just that they all have chemistry together and if it ever went down that route they'd be ok with it

I'd honestly like it more if it doesnt become poly (some stories NEED the characters to juat stop fighting or being angsty and just date each other). I think for now Hikari and Haru just kinda needs supportive friends, although its obvious Haru and Yuu are like gonna be together at some point.
