Tartarus is actually Naraku (奈落) in the source, which is a Buddhist cosmology term for hell or purgatory. It's also called Naraka in English for some reason.

Chinese it's Naraka. Japanese it's Naraku. The original Sanskrit is नरक which is just "Narak" and literally means something like "of man". That's the reason why the spelling can differ.

Next one is Bārō (バーロー) which is a slang for "馬鹿野郎/ばかやろう/baka yarou" meaning idiot bastard among other words, or simply idiot, and a catchphrase by Edogawa Conan (first used by Kogoro Mōri towards him) in Meitantei Conan/Detective Conan/Case Closed. It's officially translated as Edogawa because many non-JP speakers won't get the reference quickly, probably. Should I retain or use official term replacement?

If it used "Baro", keep it with a minor explainer like this. If it used "baka yarou", use that instead.

I'm having second thoughts on following some English translations for several nouns in the series. Namely:

• Light Empire/Tzardom of Light. The original is Raito Kōkoku (ライト皇国) which closely means Light Empire or Empire of Light if you will. For me, Tzardom doesn't sound the right word, maybe because it's very Russia-specific. TOOR Scans translated them as Holy Light Empire, although I'm not sure if there's anything in there that means Holy.
• Naraku/Tartarus. Naraku is already a meaningful word being the term for the Buddhist hell.
• Bārō/Edogawa. See page 25 notes above.
• Jack (Trading) Company/Jack of All Trades. The bastards actually made a funny translation lol.

Tzardom doesn't sound right, agreed. [白の皇国物語] is "Tale of the White Empire" and [ライト] also translates as White, so perhaps...?

Thanks for the translation! The action part was wayyy shorter than I thought it would be. I wish they spent less time on the name misunderstandings and maybe been more graphically explanatory about the mallet and how it destroyed the enemy.

its MC common skill that halved(?) hp if i not remember it wrong (that way no one dead) with add effect fracture as debuff and yeah in that world it ended as overpower as usual as far the volume 10 of LN go only one person able to go toe on toe with MC with 50% of his power now that guy able to corner and reduce some MC Hp since his atk contain magic attribute with how MC M.Def is Zero(the only one with complete magic defense is Ren and Yuu(partial)
