what i do like about this manga. it allows the readers to understand what is going on without being talked down to.

i love how they use the wolves and i do want to see more of them.

It's not a "Beholder" but an "Eye Monster" ( or any manner of creative naming..) , because IP lawyers are why we can't have Nice Things...

That particular lawsuit was in the same league as Apple's "rounded corners" and "on a mobile device" lawsuits.
In the end the bastards got the rights to the name "Beholder" for the beastie, but the general design of the monster was proven to be too generic, and too "Prior Art" to be viable for copyright, trademark, or design patent.. Barely. They damn well tried..
