Considering how Maria's physical appearance hasn't changed without magical assistance (think back to her hair not being able to grow) since she was turned, and how emotionally she stayed the same level of immature until meeting Lan and having personal growth, her brain and body haven't really grown since she was vampire-ified.

I would def consider her more towards being 18 than a senior citizen for example. I think its interesting how different stories deal with the cutoff point of life and unlife.
