It's over y'all...
The line between cringe exaggeration and painful relatability is quite hard to walk, so why is this so painfully relatable while not feeling cringely exaggerated at all?!
Dunno 'certified baddie' is mega cringe lol.
I think it has to do with the fact that we have all thought exactly like this, perky(?) mental voice and all. We have all been alone with our thoughts, amplifying our sense of powerlessness and making us spiral into pseudo-philosophical mind-ramblings and self-depreciating comments that inevitably never leave our heads. We have all felt blissfully awful, because of how many layers to our facades there are that we aren't even conscious of ourselves.
This manga does what it tries to do really well, which is why, even if I feel attacked reading every page, I will force myself to continue reading. Because it's more real than a lot of other manga I have read, and therefore actually matters. Maybe I'll get something out of this.
I can't relate to the facade as I have been the opposite extreme to lesser detriment.
No social ostricisation or negative attitude like you'd think, people found my no filter attitude funny and refreshing.
Rather, it just has the risk of one not bothering to properly connect with others out of social uninterest.
I can still empathise quite well with how FMC is feeling as I've seen it so often in others.
I can see how she's fallen into the mental pitfall of hyper positivity this due to the titillation of being a good person.
Sort of a pathological altruism gone mad per say, especially with that objectivism bit.
Moderation is key in all things, we are in an age of excess and in excess there is only harm.
I can directly relate however to the retarded anti-merit/efficiency attitude I've seen first hand in the corporate environment.
"Don't build that script to batch fill out patch panel fibre connections prefix labels, you'll take our work away".
Fear of competition is not an excuse to encourage a lower quality service.
Nonetheless she should clear her room it really does make you feel better.
