Alright, Phase 1 of the raid boss down, good shit, now everyone pop your recoveries and prep buffs while the shell is up and she's in her summoning animation so we're ready for Phase 2.

Cool thing about super modes though, unless the game invokes DANGEROUSLY CHEESY™, They are STILL usually reliant having a party to back them up. otherwise you just get brawled down because the final boss has better stats... and sometimes a supermode of their own.But it's not an ass-pull.
Consider that in a lot of JRPG games, the protagonist has some kind of "Ultra-Mode" they gain late in the game in order to face down the BBEG at the end.
The Saintess, even though she's psychopath, is still the nominal protagonist of the setting. So it's natural that she'd have an ability like this.
there was no world war in the 10'sThey could have their own 40s?
Oh, of course. She's definitely gonna get steam roller'd.Cool thing about super modes though, unless the game invokes DANGEROUSLY CHEESY™, They are STILL usually reliant having a party to back them up. otherwise you just get brawled down because the final boss has better stats... and sometimes a supermode of their own.
Wow those are some awesome people!Take it from someone who's been there, this isn't how abuse dynamics work. In order to "grow a spine", someone who's been horribly abused absolutely must have someone they know is on their side to protect them.
And even with that, it doesn't happen right away.
This is something that is so well known that there's actually an international biker club that is dedicated towards sheltering abused children from their abusers. They will protect abused children from any further attacks from the abuser, and even go to court hearings and trials to shield and support abused children.
