... that first chapter is way more problematic than I remembered it. Protagonist not accepting a flatout 'no'. Then in the next scene physically stopping her from leaving (although he comes to his senses). And then the entire kerfuffle in public.
Oh, and the minor issue of using sleeping pills on somebody ...

Well. Let's just go with "it's just the setup for the story".

Most of the behavior in this chapter was pretty problematic. From the unnecessarily aggressive guys, to the sister drugging him, a lot happened here but I dont think that Itsuki’s encounter with her in the library was as bad it may seem.

First of all, Itsuki did accept Tokujira’s rejection the first time. The only reason he got close to her again was because they both spend a lot of time in the library and he noticed her in discomfort. It’s not like whatever feelings he had for her would suddenly disappear right after the rejection, so he was obviously hurt but clearly still cared about her and what she thought of him.

Everything else was him struggling to understand why she seemed so disgusted and put off by him. At first he thought that he’d simply done something to her, but finding out that she apparently didn’t even remember who he was just made it all the worse. He was definitely too grabby though, even if it was only momentarily.

For Tokujira’s part, her words are very harsh even if she doesn’t intend to be, and she makes no attempt to apologize or reconcile despite that. Does she deserve to get physically assaulted for that, no, but she should at least apologize if even she acknowledges how bad her behavior is.

That's a lie, tried it, been called a "fag" and almost got beaten up. Never again, 0/10.

But seriously, let's dig in, wonder what the tsundare issue is.

Please tell me this isnt the sort of manga where he gets so comfortable with the lie that he reject his actual self and just cross dresses forever.

So the MC sees a crying girl, immediately falls in love with her then confesses without knowing a thing about her. After being appropriately rejected, he then violates her personal space making the girl sick with disgust just to remove a flower petal(????). When the girl tries to get away he grabs her arm. TWICE. When he sees the girl is rightfully terrified he makes her out to be the bad guy. And somehow after all that we’re supposed to believe that the girl needs to change?

For anyone who’s read this, is this a redemption story like Onani Master Kurosawa? Does the MC have any guilt or remorse for his actions or any sort of character growth at all? Because right now this just seems like incel wish fulfillment.

Oh yeah, and his sister drugged him. For some reason.

You've probably already finished by now, but
He does feel guilt, though this series is a lot more lighthearted than Onani Master Kurosawa. I still think this ends up being a good series, much better than most romcoms despite the frankly awful beginning chapters (I guess that's something it shares with Onani Master Kurosawa, huh?)

I didn’t even read past the first chapter so thank you, I’ll give it another try. Honestly didn’t expect anyone to actually reply to me lol
