As a Koga fan that flash to Lemon just killed me on the inside. She’s a great girl but it’s simple: she had her chance and chose to squander it. Sunao deserves to start fresh with no emotional baggage. Even if she did apologize that’s not just gonna disappear. Kogahara is fully on the path to discovering not only her feelings but what relationships truly are and can represent. I genuinely want that for her more than a second chance for Lemon.

The Japanese are so afraid of showing their true selves that they have a term for their "public" persona. The problem with Kogahara is that she's a nice character that is also dense, whatever she does just goes off as "she's probably just being nice".
