Interesting, the iso-onna depicted here seems to be a fusion of both iso-onna and nure-onna. Nure-onna is known to lure victims by pretending to be a woman holding a baby and has a serpent's body, but iso-onna is more known for using their beauty to lure victims and then also using their hair to drain blood.

This manga really reminds me a lot of when my husband and I were first dating. Overthinking everything, feeling awkward all the time, and taking it slowly... it's nice to see a representation of that in a manga. Feel like everything has to move so quickly to keep it "entertaining" but here is a manga that does a good job of keeping your attention through humor and developing chemistry.

Suzuyuki has such an excellent, dry sense of humor. I've never seen this before in manga, I'm enthralled. One of the few manga that makes me chuckle out loud. And not a trope in sight. I mean they went to the aquarium but that's about it. The pacing and storytelling feel very fresh.
