Definitely surprised me. I went back To skim the last few chapters assuming this was a more recent character but nope. Mc killed him in chapter 1…though maybe not. Might be a crap shoot but we didn’t actually see him die. Mc delivered his body but that’s easy enough to fake with magic so maybe he’s still alive somehow and mc spared/recruited him
