They're showing an example of the censorship they're trying to get around. Notice that the speech bubbles in the translated version are not the same as the original? It's an absolute travesty.
Most of my reading is done with two-page enabled on a 27", or secondarily on my 10" Surface.

These adverts over a number of pages, repeated twice, in a forced two-page spread on my Pixel 3a XL left me entirely confused what I was supposed to be looking at, and thinking some wrong series had be uploaded.

Strange how despite being about warfare and wielding swords there aren't any corpses in any of these fights.
Likely just a form of censorship to fit a certain format. Though the sex scenes in previous chapters does make that less likely. But who knows, Japanese culture can be weird at times, and the laws that govern manga are no different.

Maybe it tries to paint mc in a morally good way to balance out the drugs and slave soldiers. Mc characterization doesn't quite land though because the premise is weird to begin with.

The WN didn't depict corpses in detail but mentioned casualties normally, maybe the artist doesn't want to draw that many bodies, his action scenes seem mediocre at best.

Oh wow they actually brought up something I always think of with 'Muscle Drugs': What about their bones?

Yeah sudden increase in muscle mass is going to break all your bones.

Like capturing someone's fortress as a training exercise: warfare is just not that high stakes in that setting. I guess nobody dies unless explicitly executed? I suspect it's just a conceit of the setting.

The novel doesn't show you the sea of corpses you expect to find in a battlefield but people die, Gaikaku's targets are all death (elite elf, deserter soldiers and ogres).
The are no deaths from his side and you understand why later, half of it is due to masterful plans and weaponry.
is due to Gaikaku's medical knowledge and this is in spoilers because that's the main focus of the latest WN chapters.

Easy there thin skin, every participant is obviously going to be executed no questions asked.
They didn't mention the thing about inflated humans but it's following the novel to an uncanny degree.
inflated humans?

I was always wondering for quite some time.
Why would you need Russian-To-English translator? I mean, as far as I've seen, most of Russian-translated manga translated either from English or MTL from original. It is quite rare to actually see decent translation from original to Russian. That's one of the reasons why I mostly read manga/novels in English because most of the time it got better quality in translation.

we are have fewer japanese translators than needed for our projects and one of our manga 'nightmare funk' has been completed with 16 chapters in russian so want to use their translations and convert it to english
