I just reread the chapter before this one. All you really need to remember is that the main character found out who her brother was and that he ate some food made by her which made the mc’s sister worried.

Sasaki's cute and gloomy archetype that she falls into is the ONLY thing carrying this thing. By comparison there's lightyears more progress and romantic and sexual tension in Hi Score Girl within over 50 chapters than this comic, and all the main characters in HSG ever do is play Street Fighter II.
