But why though?

Basically, I think the author has relied far too heavily on shocking situations throughout the story, constantly trying to keep readers on the edge of their seats. Because these moments are so frequent and overused, instead of feeling suspense or surprise, I’ve become numb to them and no longer react emotionally to what’s happening. But that’s just my perspective; by no means am I saying this manga is bad or poorly written. I just feel like it’s starting to overstay its welcome.
