"The worst mother ever is a woman that values her daughter's choices and desires in life above some meaningless concept of 'lineage'." ✍️ I am listening and learning.
Tangentially, we're pretty close to cracking gay embryos by using a skin cell from a man to function as an egg that can then be fertilized by another man's sperm (simplified). Of course, misogyny means we won't see a similar technology for lesbians for another sixty years after we get that one figured out, but it's not some impossibility. So even if your hot take held any water, it's genuinely not going to be relevant for long.
iirc we're actually closer to the technology needed for lesbians, as they can in theory use CRISPR to swap the DNA in a sperm cell. Hell of a lot easier (and more versatile) than trying to outright change one kind of cell into a totally different one.
And I don't think misogyny has anything to do with it, because one of the primary intended applications for the skin cell into ovum conversion is as a workaround for female infertility issues.
In the end, if anything, it would be a question of logistics, since in the event of a lesbian couple with fertility issues, you potentially need BOTH of those technologies to be fully developed and reliable.
