i hope the human village and the goblin settlement can learn to coexist. the goblins havent even attacked anyone yet, and the humans dont seem hellbent on their eradication

I feel like this is going in the direction where MC is the only country to coexist with other non human races? Especially knowing the premise is all about wars between kingdom which I think is safe to assume every other kingdoms have their own gimmicks.

Given the staggering amount of knock-offs in manga, to the point you could even say that the entirety of the isekai genre is just a large grouping of knock-offs, I'm surprised there aren't more Overlord specific knock-offs (given its lasting popularity).

The axed manga linked in the 2nd edit was more like this manga: While the MC was from Japan, his nation was the one from the game he did play.


While the vague description in the comment I replied to at first did reminded me of Summoned Japan (before I realized which one he referred to), in fact it was not like Summoned Japan or Gate.
