So she is the literal incarnation of evil. I'm sure MC will find a way to not punish her.

I think it's safe to assume that most of us would also refuse her. Not because we don't want that easy life, but because by this point Touma is not alone has the best friends he could ever ask and he also has a few beauties that want his D - why lose all of that?
I imagine just the simple fact that there is a literal cult of nutjobs out there (as of this chapter, demon lord's followers) trained by the worst thing happened to you in your previous life, trying their hardest to ruin you would cause you to refuse anyone and everyone approaching you with an offer. I think anyone in his position would refuse her. Even if there were no friends. Because he knows the plan now. There CAN'T be a good outcome from any of the nutjob's offers. Unless you willingly walk into traps one after another (can't put it pass this MC), you should be fairly safe as long as you take missions from only official channels.

I'm kinda disappointed the female villain of this arc just offered a bunch of stuff the MC & his bros basically already rejected (Women, status, power, etc). She should've stuck with the blackmail because at least that's a different sort of way of doing business and maybe she could even feel conflicted about it. Oh well. I can't complain too much since part of the comedy is seeing hos get dunked on.

Wish they'd just reveal that she's the circle crusher who was isekaid just like he was.

All the players have revealed themselves now 👀 I wonder if we’re nearing the end game?

Thank you for translating!

My bro Toma resisting the temptations of big pharma for the love of saving lives and that's why he's the goat
This is like the local drug store developing the cure for cancer and they'd rather mail the pills to patients than cut a deal with pharmaceutical companies.

For those who may not know:
Chikyu = 地球 = Earth in Japanese

This means that every "Hero" came from Japan, and would explain their world under then name "Chikyu" (Earth), but the locals, who don't understand Japanese, just documented it as "Chikyu" (in Katakana, equivalent to just documenting the phonemes).
Thanks for the clarification! That said, couldn't it just be that the First Hero was Japanese, not necessarily the rest? Whoever it was, that hero had a big impact in this world's culture that is still felt to this day. Even if other heroes were, I don't know, German or Brazilian, the Japanese name for Earth would be set in stone.

In her defense, the offer is not bad. Good job, good salary, big house, a maid, all with consent and the implied promise that, if he accepted, his psycho ex would be satisfied and would stop bothering him. He'd still be free to remain friends with his companions and pursue a romantic relationship with whoever he wanted. But as others have said, he made a promise with his friends and is wary after so many threats on their friendship, so her offer never stood a chance.

Hmmm, now I noticed that I said "every hero", so I guess, yeah, there could be something like that, but based on the typical isekai trope, every isekai only affects Japanese people, it can only affect foreigners if they are in Japan at the time as exchange students in the isekai'd class, or if they are half-japanese in the first place.

Plus, other heroes would simply use the term "earth", "Terra", "Erde", etc... ( https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Earth#Translations )

As you suggested, "but the 1st hero was super popular, so everyone only remembers the name 'Chikyu', and ignored all the other later heroes from other lands", although in a way, that could be considered quite disrespectful.

Plus, another context to be considered is: Usually these novels and mangas are made for the Japanese public, not for a global public. The amount of manga that are never localized is quite significant. So it's easier to accept by default "all Heroes are Japanese" than try to add a global context of "all Heroes came from all around the globe".
