well that's a fun development.
Yuhi doing this to multiple girls now - I'm guessing this is to indicate she's got something more deep-seated, coupling with the necklace that she cares deeply for but won't talk about.
I'm curious if it all stemmed from one person--possibly someone older at the time?--who drew Yuhi in, lead her on, broke her/her heart, and now Yuhi is detached from the love aspect of romance and only does the physical stuff.

And I wonder how far back it goes. Because looking back at Sakurako's confession to her in middle school....I still think it was a touch ambiguous in how Yuki responded to/rejected her. But that'll have to wait.
I'm still curious if Yuhi really doesn't know who Sakurako is, or if this is all a long con on her part to "play the dog" in the situation until Sakurako fesses up. I could see it going either way on that front and be compelling, but.
I feel bad for Chiwa here, though. Sure she's a yappy little mutt butting in, but her story adds a lot of depth to the ongoing issue with Yuhi, and she really has been hurt in all of this due to selfish actions--both Yuhi's and her own. And that sucks, however you wanna slice it.

The video recording will undoubtedly come back up, though. But it seems like Sakurako's gotten a bit of a handle on herself and how she can act around Yuhi, at least in terms of "taking control". Maybe that'll play out and be a bit more consistent going forward, especially since Sakurako has seen Yuhi be actually emotionally vulnerable several times now.

Yuhi was in her middle school uniform when she got the necklace from the girl that seemingly broke her heart. However, Sakurako didn't recognize it when her and Yuhi met up after all this time. It's possible Yuhi was already involved with that girl before rejecting Sakurako, then the necklace came soon after the rejection, after Sakurako and Yuhi were presumably no longer in contact with each other.

The end of chapter 3 made it clear that Yuhi doesn't know who Sakurako really is. Of course, whether calling her "Amano" raised any major flags for Yuhi, or gave her any suspicions is unclear. Yuhi did try to question Sakurako alot at the start of chapter 4, but nothing about it has been brought up since.

Yuhi just shuts down any attempts to communicate. She wouldn't be honest with Chiwa, even though Chiwa could clearly tell that Yuhi has genuine feelings for Sakurako. And it clearly hurt Sakurako after Yuhi wanted her to play along and try to convince Chiwa that their relationship was nothing special. I wonder what will cause Yuhi to finally open up and be honest for once. What she's doing now is self-destructive and harmful to anyone who tries to get involved with her. But this is a comedy series, so things will always get de-escalated before they go too far.

On another note, this series is back to having an unknown release schedule. It seems that since Dumb Mutt Girlfriend is the author's second series, behind Destroy It All and Love Me In Hell!, that Destroy It All's release schedule is taking priority.
