These two girls are very hot, especially Munin, who has strong aura ara-ara :smugchisato: for MC, "to destroy the divine race" sounds like Kratos here

Credit to the artist on the last panel. that is a badass postion while he declares he will destroy Godess.

also the people there is SO more friendlier than humans.. damn.
I would have to read back through I guess - but I wonder if there's a reason humankind is so universally hateful and generally aggressive, when it seems most nonhumans are generally quite amenable and kind.

I feel like it was touched upon already, and that it actually has something to do with Vysis herself. But it's just such a pointed aspect of this setting that if there's no actual explanation for it, I'd feel cheated.

But I agree. That last page was a banger.

The contrast is pretty noticeable. Its to a degree far beyond normal hatred and disdain as shown with that last group. There was such zealotry to it that it feels like there must be something more to this. Maybe it will be like that evil god in Arifureta who made humanity so evil to non-humans. Vysis i can see Brainwashing people with her magic and making them target whoever to easily control them and eliminate any potential threat.

He’s going straight to the point.
The story progressed so much in this single chapter that it feels like the axe is looming near…
why do you jump to "axe" just on that basis?

He's never been shown to not be efficient. There's still a lot of moving parts that need to be addressed, but he's planned for this meeting for a good chunk of time, and the moment he has this Scroll deciphered and gains access to those Forbidden Magicks, he has exactly what he needs to take down Vysis--and once that happens the story's largely over other than tying up loose ends.

If anything, this feels like we're moving into the Third Act, wherein the gears for the Final Conflict are being set in motion. That speaks more to a planned conclusion than anything like the author getting their work canned.

Unless you've got data showing the series is doing poorly over in Japan or something, going "oh, progress means it's getting cancelled" is quite the leap in logic.

Fuck man, Pg 3-5 was a sucker punch to me, after knowing everything Nyaki's been through man. Author-san I swear vengeance in the name of Nyaki, if anything else bad happens to her, please show mercy to this little one, and also Skeleton king bro. :aquadrink: On a sidenote Munin looking kinda bad tho.

My boy he's finally made it to goal.
So much has happened and he's at the "End of the World" and only now he will be able to hopefully start taking steps towards the Goddess.
He's reached the next chapter, he's going to write how things go from here.

That was such a clear answer that Munin doesn't need to waste time making guesses. Of course she still needs to ask why Belzegia wants to slay the goddess. From her people's (and a whole lot of others') point of view Vysis is evil and murderous, so it's understandable, but there are still other, less pleasing possibilities. Belzegia could also simply want to kill a goddess for the sake of killing a goddess. Maybe nobody has done such a thing before and he wants to be the first. That would make him an exceptionally dangerous individual. Who knows, the next target could be the immortal king, to see if he's really immortal.

NGL, I still think this story has more to accomplish then just killing off the bitch goddess. I wouldn't go as far as to call her a mid level boss, but there are several other individuals deserving a good curbstomping and dirtnap.

That just reinforces my primary point that going "oh it must be getting axed" is all the more inane.

I think the answer to that question lies in the fact that most of the human factions are led by the descendents of kidnapped otherworlders.

I can think of no better of a reason for the angst and passive aggressive hate then the realization that you were magically manipulated into fighting someone else's war and then allowed to sire the next generations of combat instructors for your eventual replacement.
