It feels like with these series it's inevitable.
Most series do it nearly INSTANTLY. A few don't do it for quite. There's another series I was spoiled a bit on where I know it happens eventually but it hasn't happened yet. It's the one about the guy who can talk to dragons who is raising a bunch of them.

I wonder if the author will actually stick to that evaluation. I'm betting he either:

1. Finds a way to expand the number of spells he can learn.
   Either with the help of the "chickens" or his poison immunity. Or both... the chickens could pick some plant for him that would normally be be deadly poisonous for anyone else.
   
   
2. The priest saw he could learn "002" spells.
   Meaning there's a 3-digit limit on the appraisal ability, and MC can learn "over 1,000" spells. It might only be 1,002... or it could be 1,000,000,000,000,002 spells.

one spell per chicken would be such a weird mechanic. I kinda hope you're right, because I want to see what kind of weird ass excuse the author comes up with for that setting.
