It gives important context, but it is also a story based on rape of children from someone in a position of power, so I can understand that being a bit controversial...
Not just
raped but also fiercely defensive of his rapist to the point he sought to torture Fran over not being more grateful about it.

I'd totally forgotten this was originally gonna be April Fool's, lmao, but good to see it show up now instead of then.

It's a little sad that you're only going to be going at current pace with part 3 since it means we'll never actually fully catch up (unless I'm wrong, afaik it's a monthly manga and also monthly scan releases), but I get the desire to not start speeding up just because this part finished.

You people are really going to defend making a child dependend on artefacts when they could have just taught compression to her?

The story is nice and all but the world building is atrocious.
Spoiler for part 4
Teaching compression is DANGEROUS. A child doesn't have the strength of will to do that, even with the 10 years old, they need to be supervised with all teachers of the RA present to avoid someone dying while learning compression. Using magic tools is way safer. Plus the child will need that saved up mana later on anyway (for noble children).

Said child would be immediately kidnapped to spill out the technique.
Irrelevant as such thing should be commonly known anyway.
All you are doing is excusing preventable child deaths from those with the condition but no way to even know how to deal with it.

But I will take that as a "yes".

Wrong, as shown by Mayne doing it at 3 yo by accident.
What they lack is guidance not will power or capacity. Even in part 4 it is said they could have learned earlier but are only taught in the school for "tradition".

Myne never did it at 3. She did it at 5, once she had the willpower of an adult, something no other child can do. They're taught in the school for safety, not tradition. Plenty of those who learned at 10 had incidents that required the teachers to intervene or they would have died.

In the interest of dodging the upcoming April Fools event, we decided to rush this final chapter out on the usual 15th instead. Part 3 will resume on May 1st so no one can blame me for missing it to be an April's Fool prank lol.
Wait, does the manga not do the medical exam?
