I know but that's how it works in our world, a world that is really trapped in the mindset of "genders" and everything else. In a world where sexuality isn't even a thing, I was curious how it worked
I think that it's an"thing" but they just don't need adjectives for what would amount to a "type".
Without stigma, it's like "tall" or "butts". You just ask, and say "yes" or "no" when asked.
"Would you like some of this?" "No, I'm sorry, you're just not what I'm into." "Oh. Cest la vie."
Done.
Like, Eliza likes guys (in general" Camui canonically finds Irumi gorgeous, but feels nothing at the sight of "her", his gen-dar is so good. He likes girls ...way too much.
So far, Vine only has conniptions around charismatic
men.
My gen-dar is pretty good, too, it's just not relevant, here.
Even if I were in the market, it's not relevant to me. (Which makes this manga's MC so special and relatable to me)
"I'm pretty sure what pronouns to use." "I should ask their pronouns." That's the only thing it does for me 😂
But yeah. Gender is a thing, there, it's just not as gender normative and doesn't assume a binary.
Looking at who swoons at which characters, I think there might be a slightly higher percentage of "queers" in the Netherworld, but who knows? Some people in that crowd could just be charmed in a more general way. I don't know what people with a more specific orientation react to or how, but apparently they can be moved emotionally and feel no other form of vibes.
I find way too high a percentage of people hot. Basically be a decent person. (The bar is way too low for women, though. I'm so weak to other girls... no more. I'm old and done.)
