hmmmmmm, so it wasn't cheating, so thats good. As long as it isn't emotional/physical harm or cheating, then I really have nothing to complain about. It's sad that she couldn't be in love with dad like Dad was with her, but theres no point making yourself suffer in a relationship. Even with kids, yea getting a divorce sucks, but its better in the long run for families to have their parents living a good life divorced instead of hiding it in front of the kids. The one mistake was not taking the kids to therapy when they got divorced which is clear how fmc views marriage/relationships now.
