Maybe this is a weird Japanese cultural thing because I know their baths are separated from the rest of the facilities but why the hell would you get fully nude to start the bath? You start the bath, get nude then get in. Otherwise you’re stuck standing there waiting for the tub to fill. Even if you clean yourself before going in, start the bath before nudity.

You start the bath, shower, then soak. More modern homes let you start the bath remotely, though, so you can go right in as soon as the set temp is reached.
