Like I suggested on t he ch apter she tried to stop in the teacher.. t he character isnt there to be an antagonist to the teacher, but to give justification for the revenge as a whole and what torture the teacher is about to inflict on the antagonist. Kinda like plaything, make the villains as bad as you need to justify what the author wants to inflict on them.
