I wonder why Uichi lies to Yotsuha in chapter 68... My guess is that if the mastermind knows that Yotsuha is aware of the truth, then they may use the watch to time-travel and "fix" this current future.

Uichi knows it's someone close to Yotsuha, and is trying not to let the future be changed. Who is it? My money is still on the brother. There's still more to him I feel like we are missing. I could see Fuu being in on it, but I doubt it.

Well, shit. Now I don't know who to suspect at all. Though, I'm still with the wild personal theory that it's Yotsuha from a different timeline that's somehow behind all of this.

It feels like it might fit but it doesn’t explain how clover didn’t know about the watch until recently, if it was bad end Yotsuha from another timeline she’d probably go after the watch immediately.

Three random Fuu-done-it conspiracy theories:
1) Fuu is yandere for Yotsu and this whole web of deceit and cruelty is an elaborate scheme to eliminate Uichi as romantic competition.
2) Fuu has a fetish for manipulating people into killing themselves and deliberately drove every person in the series who has killed themself to do so.
3) Fuu wants Yotsu to experience the same pain of seeing their most beloved person kill themself so that Yotsu will better be able to empathize with Fuu's pain.

Didn't "clover" call Uichi (or was it Yotsuha) a murderer? I assume she blames them for her Dad's death.

At this point it would be some real silly nonsense but I never really let go of the theory that clover was Uichi and/or Yotsuha's kid from the future. If clover really is Fuu, and that really was her dad, then that would have to mean that was future Uichi who time traveled to present day and got stuck somehow.

Maybe I've been watching too much of the Netflix series Dark but it's not totally unfeasible.

Yotsuha is getting too comfortable while Uichi is taking the leading role of detective now it seems. Fuu-chan feels like a really cunning person that could fabricate her story or noose bruise to make Yotsuha trust her more.
Yotsuha's foster family is also still big mystery. So many questions...

But Uichi already knew about it so it doesn't make sense to be fabricated, Yotsuha didn't know because she went away as a kid.

It's pretty obviously fuu-chan. somehow yotsuha's family drove her father to kill herself, and she already got the mom. It's still wild to target yotsuha though, considering she barely knew anything about her family at all, so I hope there's more to it.

My theory: If what she says is true about her attempted suicide, then Uichi probably saved her and wouldnt let her kill herself. Probably said something like no matter how bad life is you shouldnt do that. So, in a messed up way of thinking and resentment of Uichi for saving her, she's like "okay asshole im going to facilitate a bad life for you to prove that youre wrong and make you kill yourself"

Interesting that we're given a little more backstory on Fuu-chan, I have a feeling that what she said might not be the full picture, or worse-case scenario, not truthful at all. But if she is telling the truth, I'm considering the idea that she thinks Uichi (or potentially even Yotsuha) might have something to do with her father's death—that would be enough justification for, anyone really to go on a warpath.

Yotsuha's brother is throwing me off though... I mean, there's no evidence that Clover is one person, maybe they're in cahoots? Lord knows Clover has no issue conspiring with others to get what they want, but I don't know. There's too much going on, not enough evidence.

Man, this is a great story—I'm really having a lot of fun trying to figure this out.

I mean usually in anime it doesn't show scenes of the backstory if they are not true, I would say it's true but we are not getting the full picture here

1. I wouldn't say she is the yandere for Yotsu cz she did try to kill herself and Yotsu wasn't there for here if she is yandere maybe she is yandere for the mc but then again why would she try to kill him then? I would say yandere is every unlikely
2. That could be the case as I think we didn't get the full backstory
3. Hmm that's an interesting one That could lead to Fuu being the yandere but then why would she become the wingman, like she did encouraged the mc so he can confess


I would say there is a connection between Fuu and Yotsu brother, Youtsu Mom died bcz of Suicide too so I am wondering was Fuu dad really killed himself for the Pressure or maybe Fuu dad was dumped by Youtsu's mom or something happened which lead to both of them taking their life, but then again I am not sure if the timeline matches with this theory as MC bullying started from Middle school

Hmm... That's not how I interpret it. Look at the conflicted expression and hesitation of Uichi when he says "Rei is the mastermind" to Yotsuha after having talked to him. He's clearly hiding something. What? I don't know, but I think there's something he didn't want to say, and it's clear he doesn't want Yotsuha to know, otherwise he would've said "Rei isn't the mastermind" to her instead of to himself.

For me, the biggest contenders for clover are the mother or Fuu, possibly with her having invented time travel too.
