Sorry, you're right. They are literally Japanese. I meant that they aren't going through the standard Japanese manga pipeline with official publishers, editors, magazines, organizational advertising etc. The ones that are mostly self-produced like the one you listed are wild cards, and don't really have a standard to follow.

Well... that's what I typically think of when I hear Japanese manga. Kinda like when people say comics and recall spider-man, marvel, DC, etc. Though, these days a lot more are entering that same pipeline from standalone webcomics.

BTW, is "My Boss is Scary" short for "A Scary Boss, But From Now on She's Going to Be Happier and Happier"? I kept searching for it, and that long title kept coming up.

This is gonna sound like a bizarre nitpick, but isn’t usagi’s build more body builder and less track athlete? Like I understand she does the normal workouts off screen but her being a former track athlete and saying, “I’m out of shape” threw me off

I think the author kinda shot themselves in the foot by establishing this is day 6 of them knowing each other.

Lonely and desperate or not, it still feels too fast at that pace. At least if it was like...a month or something? i could believe it more easily.
