No note was made, but the final panel basically confirmed that the knight "Kukoro" is named after the Japanese meme "kukkoro" which originates from the line 「くっ、殺せ！」 "kuh, korose! = ugh, just kill me!" (i.e. that common line proud charatcers say when defeated/abducted)
