That was NOT the kind of poking the comments section was waiting for. Although the results may have been the same with the poke busting out the other side. Horse cocks always have that potential.

I have to admit I'm a bit confused at pages 4 and 5.

We've got Scott agonizing over how to prevent the Pope from finding out about Terrace and the others finding out about the Pope... and the very next page has the Pope and Terrace already on the verge of fighting to the death.

Is there a missing page, or did the mangaka really just skip the mutual reveal, going straight from 'Terrace innocently gropes the Chin-Chin Elf' to 'Death Battle: Reincarnated Demon Lord vs. Holy Pope of Takafumism'?

Yup, that’s it
it’s not explained why The Pope suddenly realized that Terrace was The Demon Lord :nyoron:

I suspected as much. Thank you for clearing it up.

It's really too bad, there could have been some fun to have with the two interacting while being blissfully unaware of each other's true identity, and Scott growing more and more mental trying to cover up anytime either of them says or does something suspicious.

I guess the mangaka wanted to move on quickly to introduce that Bell character in time for the end-of-volume cliffhanger.
