I am so going to miss Misaka and all the awesome characters in this manga. Railgun is one of my most favorite anime and manga ever on the planet. The end panel was really cool and seeing her friend leave without a goodbye was sad. Thanks for the chapter and translation

I just kinda assumed it'd never end. I don't like this, it was my favourite series.

At least the Mental Out spinoff is still ongoing.

I’m really sad that this is ending and I’m really sad that the main series got fucked over by the industry. If they’d done a proper job animating it and directing the pacing of the series, it definitely would have exploded even more in popularity

Damn I was hoping this would continue for as long as the Index timeline but this.. is sudden... What?? Like this spin-off was the longest one and definitely was the most promising that it could continue indefinitely but... it suddenly stops? It feels more like an axe than a predetermined thing which.. is a shame if that was the case :/
I really wanted this to continue, especially since this manga shows the best side of Misaka (Touma doesn't have the best vision of her unfortunately since he doesn't see all sides of her :/) so it's a real shame... I especially love her friendship with Kiyoshi and I really want her to meet Kiyoshi again. Like what? That was literally one of Misaka's most healthy relationship where she can finally see someone as an equal without any animosity. I love Misaka relationships that doesn't have to do with Touma, like her role as big sis to her imoutos. It's so refreshing to see those Misaka, but we barely ever see it in the main novels especially because the author just robs her of that and doesn't like developing her without relying on Touma...
Like don't get me wrong, I like her relationship with Touma but I love Misaka as a character even more so I don't like it when she's just shown her life to be revolved around Touma. Because her own manga shows that's literally not the case. She has so many relationships that we're able to see so many different expressions and moments, that prove her mind is not on Touma 24/7, far from it. But I feel the author doesn't want to show that because of how snail pace her character and development is in the main novel... if he even remembers how to do it.

well Shirai seemed kinda smitten with her. but i still dont get how she gets so much like a crazy loon for her. she still seems like a pretty serious acting person.
