Last time, I said that I'll be changing the English title to "Misaki-kun is Not a Romancable Character" to better fit with the flow of the dialouge in the story. And then after I said that, the author announce that this will be the final volume for the series, as in there's only 10 chapters left until the story end.

I thought the story would go on for longer, but I guess there's no point in changing the title now since we're so close to the end...

So it would rewrite Misaki's character data into a heroine but cause the computer character equivalent of identity death in the process. Why do I get the feeling he's going to try it out of desperation as time runs out? Like he might think something stupid like it's fine if I lose my memories I can just make new ones as long as the world doesn't keep getting reset over and over again for eternity.

Normally i would agree, but in this case it's more about breaking the rules of their world than starting the romance.

I'd usually be upset about my romcom not having a lot of rom, but here I'm kinda okay with it.

I don't hate the story, I like it a lot, but it feels like this is a romance that is more about the journey than the destination. Like, the main thrust of the story is that Misaki isn't romanceable. Presumably at the end he will be. Everything after that is just kinda filler.

I wouldn't hate it, but a long afterstory seems like it would just drag.

This is fine for me, we had A LOT of chapters actually, not shorts ones and is going organically towards the goal... Besides, they've been flirting and in love from the start so is not really missing on romance, only missing kisses and .... this and that

I like how he's just accepted that he's not allowed to wear men's clothes outside of his uniform, and even then that' rare now. Go with the flow, bro. Now that we know it's almost over, it's a bit sad though. This was a fun premise, but it makes sense why it's ending considering the setting is so enclosed with little room for growth. Oh well, I'll be enjoying this until the end.

100% he'll put the visor on to become romancable, lose his memories, Hareta will mope for a chapter that Misaki is no longer Misaki, then in the final few pages they kiss which restories Misaki's memories, and they get to live happily ever after by ending the game.
