He's a shota. They're very commonly drawn very feminine to convey a vulnerable image that a strong/older woman would completely fall for/want to protect/have for themselves.
Also, the "golem"(half convinced the sage is either acting like a golem or controlling it) siphoned his horny energy to fight and I don't see a Yuri tag.
