When I started the chapter I feared it was a rushed ending and thought the manga got axed, I felt such a huge relief when I finished reading it, lmao

I had a feeling but not a very strong one. It makes sense since they're special in some way. Prez being immortal was a giveaway of sorts but not enough to presume the big picture. The gun thing last chapter finally gave it away for sure. Prez and mc have both personally interacted with the false god. There's no way it would all just end like that. There was always going to be something keeping them in the game.

Seems the false god keeps the specters away from them both as they come too close to the truth with each specter they defeat. It removed the prez (the brains) from this dance before mc arrived which is why prez needs her to help with the investigation. And without them both, the rest of the class are sitting ducks. Mc has way too much attachment to the prez, and becomes desperately insane enough to kill the person she loves/obsessed with for another chance to be together.

False god is pretty smart for this. Why it grants the mc's wish to try again each time is curious. It thinks too highly of itself and sees them as no real threat or finds their suffering to be entertaining. Perhaps it's bound by certain rules and has no choice but to follow them.

If prez and mc can find a way to keep their memories when the loop restarts, they'll have a chance at winning. They need to make better use of each specters rules to fish for info that will create an opening for a coup de grace against the false god.

Having someone in the crew who can be muscle and someone with no abilty to feel fear diversifies their tools to take on each challenge. If they can assmble the team more quickly, they can make better use of each encounter.

Also mc murking prez 13 times already is METAL as hell 0_0

The Specters may SEEM like they're bound by certain rules, but as previous chapters have shown, they can discard those rules if and when it suits them for maximum benefit.

I doubt the false god is actually malicious, probably simply uncaring instead. So this place being a forced evolution bootcamp makes sense, given the false god's supposed goals, and putting the MCs through the loop fits into that nicely.

This exactly. The entire thing had been hinting at this twist: Prez’s immortality, Sakura’s connection to everything. Heck, the nightmare Duke even spilled the beans to Prez who tried to pass it on to Sakura but couldn’t before she died and reset.

And OOFT. Some of those deaths in those single frames were BRUTAL. Glasses girl dying and then her girlfriend killing herself the day after? And then our facourite side couple? Yeesh.

And for the love of the false god STOP WITH THE AXE NIHILISM! I know it’s par for the course to for people to jump on it at the first sign of danger, but how many times does Sciencey have to say it before it sticks? This one in particular has SO much wind in its sails now!

Yeah my thoughts after rereading are that this is being done to evolve Sakura and/or Andou (the prez). Hell since the false gods are higher dimensional beings its not impossible that the false god is the terminal point of evolution for either/or the two of them together, now unbound by time here to ensure its own birth. Or only one of them evolved and the resulting false god is here to ensure the other is pulled up as well.

Now to be fair I dont necessarily think I'm on the money here, but knowing how false gods are created its only logical to see the end point of an endless loop leading there.

Overall though there is an interesting point of difference between the two of them. The prez describes her interaction with Oiya-sama as it saying "why do you impede" while Sakura heard "why do you not fullfill your duty" which is interesting especially when the false god count called her a puppet of the false gods. Which she is through the timeloop, however given Oiya-sama's sakura motif she may also just have become a specter/false god in the original timeline who then initiated the timeloop for whatever purposes (maybe to ensure Andou's evolution into a false god as well for that sweet eldritch yuri)

It's also apparent now that both Andou and Sakura will revive whenever they die if only to ensure the continuation of the loop and with that it's immediately obvious that the loops aren't always going to be the same even without memories. As the immortality afforded to both of them causes Andou to take much bigger risks in the pursuit of knowledge.

I gather some clue to be expect for timeloop
1. She know how to operate anzu gun
2. She throw anzu finger to the pond (it's confuse me first time like how she know that she will get revived? now I know it).
3. She somehow never ever want to communicate with her classmate and the one who in relationship is just the prez.
4. How the hell a club just have prez only? Where everyone?
Time loop actually explain this four plothole and don't forget how prez died and get revived.
My theory is that sakura end up alone. I don't know who she encounter with prez in the last moment but that specter end up took prez soul/kill her. Then she wishes that she want to be together with prez forever and in exchange for that wishes she get her memory erased. So actually it's like infinite energy, when one year of memory created she offer it to redo it again and again.

Maybe author change the goal or ending middle writing, in the like first ten chapter it actually more like slice of life with horror mysteries but then alien? secret organization? For now before the loop reveal we just see the story in the sakura perspective as looper, now we can see what actually happen in the yuuminchou with a bunch character interraction.

The chance this story get axed is about 0-10% why? is award winning...
