The Prime Minister seems to have been a very capable man, enough to even resist the witch's new brainwashing powers. Even with inept royalty, if the support staff is capable, a nation can survive far longer than it otherwise would or should.
Well the thing about Amy's powers is: To work you have to have just a tiny bit of goodwill for her to be able to charm/brainwash you, which goes to show how much the Prime Minister LOATHES her since he can resist her. It's the main reason this shit is going to drag on so long, Allen should have just shot her and buried her in an unmarked grave and been done with it. No one would have blamed him because of what she put Ana through, and it would arguably be a better end than what she is going to get(assuming the Manga doesn't change it)

They announced the Crown Prince's death and yet the Crown Prince is leading the attack against them?
The empires prince is dead, the kingdoms prince is leading the kingdoms subjugation army against the Duke Ramslett.
Its confusing because of wording but I understand were your coming from

I like this outcome, most story's ive read dont have the outcome of the nobles faction declaring independence with literally a good position to actually declare independence from their nation.
In this case Ramslett has a large bargaining chip in a vast food stores in his territory and the fact he has good standing with the the lord's around his territory, add to that he has our MC who has just been notified to practically end a war with large military honors and a good justification that youd have to be near crazy to argue against with a straight face.
Story's while its going well with that justification.

i wonder what this declaration brings. Maybe the other territories can decide under whose flag they want to serve? And I bet the empire isn't going to let this chance slip by either
Dominoes effect TBH. It's hard to say how much is known of Allen's exploits, but I would imagine that if they were known, the territories in the immediate vicinity of the Ramslett's sphere of influence would side with them so they don't get dragged into a carpet bombing.
If the military mismatch wasn't enough, there is the fact that the Ramslett's domain consists of the majority of the farmland of the kingdom as a whole. A fact that earned them ridicule from idiots who really should know much better. So the fence sitters are confronted with the triple whammy of an external threat of invasion, militarily outmatched internally, and staring down the barrel of a major food shortage if they don't side with the Ramsletts.

Different Crown Prince different countries The one that died is the one that tried to NTR and was from a country hostile to the one Allen is in. The ones that leading the attack is the dopey mfer and his entourage who couldn't put a scratch on Allen in a 5v1
