Level of fantasy anthrocentric genocide bullshit: try to kill a baby because it is a non-humanoid.

Classic role-reversal romance trope. Prince Melioros is used to having the dominant position with women. He's the handsome prince, and they throw themselves at him. Now Sana has NO TIME for his bullshit, she throws him around, and she's wearing the skimpy China dress and doing unintentional foreplay. She is the most interesting forbidden romance target he's ever seen. Dude is cooked.

Really, the prince? Ah the 'He's cold and aloof but she can change him, because she's not like other girls' trope.

Stay strong, Prince-san ! Make Sana sweat a little bit and give her a taste of what she's putting you through !

I absolutely adore the 'arrogant prince falls hard for a commoner girl and becomes a better person' situation going on here.
I am constantly checking his expression on every panel because it's the best indicator for his mental state. I thought it was interesting that he pushed for the trip to this village and it feels to me that he is genuinely trying to understand his subjects like how a prince should be. This adventure might just be what he needs to broaden his horizons.

Fantasy dragons are sometimes just (very) dangerous animals, not sapient, in which case it'd be more like killing a tiger cub (which would starve to death or get eaten by predators anyway if you kill its mother.)

(And some other fantasy dragons, like D&D, are sapient but Always Evil (depending on color))

Well there is a different case in this manga.
