well random death can happen but i feel you, and they turn very fast man, seems like the zombie here focus more on spreading more than eating hence why it's fast to mess up a base

It's pretty much a hopeless situation. No group larger than a few dozen people can ensure they always keep tabs on everyone to the point that no one dies unnoticed one way or another. Not unless you treat them like animals. When someone inevitably does, it's a question if you're lucky enough to deal with it before it spreads and luck eventually runs out. Also, the psychological strain from this is going to wreck havok both on your community's health and the likelihood that it simply collapses from within.

at this point I think it would be better if he could go back to the other world and leave the zombies behind, the SDF that relocated to the sea might already be all dead and turned into zombies if you don't even need to get bitten
