Agreed. Though I’ve got 2 concerns. First is that he did summon the “heros” to this world so he might have some space time magic of his own. And secondly, he’s clearly working for some kind of god who might just bring him back to screw with mc

Can't remember the manga but last time I saw a dude in a "nothingness" prison he invented a new magic system and almost destroyed the world after coming out (granted it was a time prison where he spent like, millions of years mentally but still)

I guess it's a way to make him suffer more than instant death, but he should have cut his feet too, so, that he's forced to crawl like a worm to even move... just like MC had to do at the very start in the cave !

I've read the novel before here's some spoilers if you want

first he summoned the heroes with artifacts whichwas destroyed by mc so he can't use spacetime magic as far as i know only kana can use spacetime magic
Second as you said the god of this world is behind all of it and he's the only one just showing himself as different gods to the different types of people in that world
he's the last boss/bad guy mc fights although he just want to die so he doesn't kill mc even when he can after killing the god mc becomes the new god of this world and the girls get pregnant at the end of the story as far as i know his "sister" doesn't join the harem but it's unclear
And For nextchapter the demon boy just becomes his follower because his sister(if it was not clearer the cat girl little sister is his "sister" that got summoned to this world befor as the demon king and was killed by the hero of that time in the 1000? Years fight before the start of this story)and now is reincarnated into the cat girl and she's still considered as demon king/queen

The whole point of letting him live, is that there can't be a replacement super Human as long as he lives, he's also immortal, so not letting him bleed out, means he can suffer eternally.
