I thought it was real cute seeing her get a girlfriend and try to be serious for once. That said, this started as a story about Todou kissing as many girls as possible, and I'm glad its returning to its roots.

...Well, I wasn't expecting THAT to happen. Rin really didn't strike me as the sort to be okay with poly stuff, since her love for Itsumi seemed pretty possessive. Rin also seemed like a more grounded and level headed person, so learning her competitiveness is so high she wants a love rival to come back after rejection so they can properly compete for her girlfriends love is crazy lmao. She seems genuinely baffled they aren't down for this idea.

I think the story could have pulled off an elelgant rejection and we did go pretty far down that route, but I also trust the story to pull off some really funny gay bullshit on the poly route, so fuck it, why not lol

Hard to describe how disappointing this is tbh, esp after last chapter.

Kurohime getting pity-added to the relationship just so that she's not sad feels forced af and kinda ruins her whole arc (which was great btw), while also cheapening the shit out of the Todou/Rin relationship all in one sad swoop.

Manga still goated, so staying tuned for now I guess, though this really feels like a turning point and not in a good way...
