It's a good story, written somewhat incompetently. It needed more drama though, it would have been much more satisfying if, along the way, both of the protagonists agonized a bit more before following through with the revenge, the cheaters should have had moments that felt redeeming halfway through and made the protagonists doubt themselves, only to notice that it's just the same old trick and what they really want is each other. The cheaters being just two horrible bastards isn't engaging enough for that to happen.

The story would have some emotional impact if their revenge wasn't only about getting back at the cheaters but affirming their feelings towards each other. I mean It's all already there, the author just wasn't good enough to deliver it.
As it stands it's a 5/10, at least it's short.

I mean, I also get bored of the turbo-virgin tropes. But that’s not the only kind of manga that Japanese mangaka make. I’ve read 3 manga within the last few weeks where the MC-kuns were banging everything left and right and virginity/turbo-virgin behavior was not treated as “ideal“ nor were virgin girls put on pedestals above other women. Just like entertainment in other countries, Japanese media has a wide gamut of different kinds of characters with different kinds of morality. Try widening your horizons and reading more kinds of manga.

As for this manga: boring, characters were not terribly interesting, ending was too abrupt and unsatisfying, considering how long the buildup was. 2 or 3 extra chapters to soften the pace of the ending a bit would have helped, like seeing Touko and MC-kun on another date and philosophizing about their experiences a bit more, and seeing some more stuff about other characters.

Reading this again and just realized the story is axed. Their new relationship is just beginning.

They should've been show the aftermath of how the asshole senpai and the slut ex gf doing after the counterattack. Okay, so... The story itself was great. Building a romance between the two while they plotted their revenge. If this were given an anime adaptation and I were picked as a director, I would put as many resources as possible into making it a great masterpiece in Anime terms.

That said... I am disappointed by the ending. Not because they didn't do it as promised. Rather, because the way it ended left no aftermath or confession. How would I do it?

Both would confess that they are starting to have feelings, but agree that dating each other just after dumping their exes would not do them so well, and they want to explore their relationship before becoming official. We cut to years later, where Yuu and Isshin are hanging out, which they rarely do now because their lives are busy. They talk about what they went through as a group over the years. After their departure, Yuu encounters Karen by coincidence. Karen, now mature, started by apologizing. Apparently, her boyfriend had cheated on her after Yuu, which served as a wake-up call for her to realize how badly she had treated him. She noticed a wedding ring and asked if he had married Touko, to which he said, "Happily". She responded with praise for Touko and asked him if she could apologize. Yuu refused, saying Touko's ex-boyfriend (can't spell his name) hurt Touko, not Karen. Karen only hurt Yuu, and he was glad to end their relationship. Yuu then told Karen that although he was happy with their relationship in the beginning, he just couldn't find it in him to trust Karen again. He then left Karen alone, feeling depressed. Yuu returned home to see Touko welcoming him with a smile. That night, after they did the deed, Yuu confess he ran into Karen and revealed that he was thankful to Touko who he deeply loves. Touko comforted him and expressed how thankful she was that he saved her from her pathetic ex-boyfriend. She then revealed she had experienced a shocking encounter. Yuu asked if Touko had encountered her ex, but she revealed that she hadn't contacted him since they broke up. She instead handed him a gift. When he opened it, he found a pregnancy test with a positive result.
