This poor bastard tries SO hard to have a harem, but the author is just cock blocking him to the moons even in the latest chapters. He keeps thinking that he needs more luxury to get the girls, when it's clear he needs to slow down and TRY to rizz them normally as Alessa and the girls do want a loving relationship. Unfortunately, MC's got no confidence to try OR the rizz to do so.
