You do realize how popular MTL uploaders are becoming right? They will be everywhere soon. Eventually it will be like in 2010 when there was always more than one scan for practically every popular manga.

Exclusivity never mattered, it's not "a waste of effort" if more than one group does a TL. I haven't read Mahou Sensei Negima in years and I could still point out the difference between a scan done by Enigma! and Red Hawk Scans in a split second.
