I really like the character design of the main girl, and in general, I love manga about gyaru who are kind to otaku, but is it just me or do the characters seem kind of... flat? Male mc's are usually that way so it isn't a big deal, but the gyaru is also much less fleshed-out than normal. I'm sure her backstory will be explained eventually, but right now I have no understanding of why she cares about the mc and his manga so much, especially right after he moved back.
