Masato is a genuinely kind man who lacks malice who ends up with five girls in love with him in a gender ratio world of 1 man for every five women. They all independently come to the conclusion they cannot keep him for themselves, so they will need to share him, but they have not yet all met each other. As of volume 4 of the LN, 4/5 have confessed to him, but he hasn't answered any of them. He likes them all, but he isn't sure it's romantic, does not want to hurt them or waste their time, and is worried he doesn't know to treat them well enough for them to feel treasured as girlfriends. Also, the two college girls jointly asked him out, starting the whole harem premise.

I don't really like protagonists who are too insensitive and have no personality other than being nice. Seriously, this guy is really boring, his attitude is too perfect. I would have preferred if he had been made more comedic, ugly, and annoying. At least that would have been interesting.Then, most women's love for this character is too shallow. They simply like him because he's kind, friendly, and handsome, without really giving them a compelling reason to love him more. All manga about reverse worlds always have a rather boring MC. The only ones I like are probably the ones that started out as male MC doujins and then became female MC mangas because they really show a lot of change From the concept of reverse world and not only strong women weak men like this story.
