This is the type of goofiness this series needed, nice to see Moka and Chisaki settle their differences this way.

Anyway, seeing as how Riku's return got setup at the end of this chapter, I feel like I should say this now that anyone holding out for a Moka breakup so the likes of Tsubomi or Chisaki can win (not counting Kanako unless she suddenly gets romantic feelings for Ueno) should probably stop coping/hoping/wishing too much.

That is to say, I don't see Moka regressing and I don't see Riku, regardless of what he does, succeeding in making Moka look in his direction again, considering the comedy we just got, I don't see the manga taking such a brutal and twisted turn to have Moka abandon Ueno, if it were to happen it would have happened already.

I've said this before but these last few chapters have been played out very straight, when Moka caught Kanako kissing Ueno, she didn't freak out and abandon him, she heard Ueno out and still wanted to pursue a relationship, even earlier than this, Ueno turned down Tsubomi's proposal for sex and instead just wanted to be normal friends with her, then you've got Chisaki and Ueno's confrontation, this would have been the perfect place for the author to throw a curveball and have Ueno regress so Chisaki can give him bullying sex.

But that didn't happen, instead Ueno chose to move in spite of the fact he will always think about how he got "developed" he's still choosing to move on here and quite frankly, even if a breakup DID happen between Ueno and Moka, I don't see him immediately running back to any of the bully trio, if he did do that, I'd be curious about the type of message that is going to send.

As far as I'm concerned with Riku, the same way the bully trio confronted the past and moved on from it, the same thing will happen here, the idea for this was already planted when Riku's sex friend mentioned how he was stuck in the past, it's possible we will get some NTRbait of Riku trying to win Moka over somehow, but I don't see Moka caving in and ultimately, the same way we saw Chisaki letting Ueno go, I think Riku will relent and let Moka go.

Yep you predicted right but Riku doesn’t seem like he’ll let her go. Seems like chapter 83 will decide the fate of this series.

I did see the raws for next chapter and I don't think Moka is going to cave in, this is all going back to what Riku's sex buddy was telling him before and what Ueno said to him after their match, Riku just needs to move forward and accept that Moka doesn't want him anymore.

But yes, chapter 83 will be the deciding factor how this situation is handled.

That was a good fight. Chisaki held her own, which shouldn't be a shock since she did beat up a group of douchebags from Riku's tennis group and physically protected Kanako from harassment in middle school.

There was a lot of doubt in the chapter discussions about the friendship between Chisaki and Moka would remain intact by the end of the story. After all, it is a natural deduction to have since it does sounds outlandish for Moka, Ueno's girlfriend, to be on friendly terms with his tormentor, especially after knowing his full history with Chisaki and how unapologetic Chisaki is about bullying Ueno. But you know, even when Moka had a hunch that Chisaki's relationship with Ueno isn't as pure it seems and confirming it during the time she and Chisaki went to the rock concert together, Moka cared enough about the friendship that she's open to have a proper discussion instead of just cutting Chisaki off instantly. Now after this chapter, now I'm certain they'll be on friendlier terms by the end of the story and we might actually see Moka and Chisaki sharing a cigarette, as incredible as it sounds...

Also, looks like Riku is back but with messier hair and a slightly muscular back. With any hope, he moved on from wanting to get Moka and the past back (LOL).

Great theory, overall i agree but i dont think Riku will be that much of a reasonable person, i cant really see a way for them to stop him or make him let go of Moka in a peaceful way...
But i still trust my man Ueno could handle it. 🤛

It should all work out just fine in the end and Moka can defend herself just fine, as this chapter has just reminded us.
