it's super sad that we got a nice idea with this series and the start was good, I think getting rid of the comrades so soon in the story was a bad idea in the end, after that we got really poor amount of good moments, but the alliances were a good idea, sadly their were always too OP, so most battles didn't felt like they had stakes.

It wasn't. This is literally how the story went in the Web Novel, or at least I think it did. The website I was going to read it on had a translator's note of them complaining about how the characters felt and things done in the story, etc. They were glad to have finally finished translating it and hated the series. I can only assume this was why.

Which is ironic, the translator thought that the manga would do better because it was at the time of translating.
