page 4, what a wild thing for a 'kid' to say but hopefully he doesn't sudden come in and be a gold digger lol although idk if there'd be any legal claims now/i'd think she'd use a stage name or so

lmao the emotional damage at the cliche 'dad you stink' lines (although other than some middle age men having a distinct smell given jp's bathing culture i'd think it wouldn't be an issue [unless it's just teen girls rejecting their dads scent or so], tho i guess the 'cute girl at the station' manga did have a chapter where the mc commented about him smelling like green onions as he aged or so)

IDK if it's based on any irl stuff but i have seen the tween/teen girl being distant towards dads that way even if they aren't particularly 'doting'/overbearing

on the flip side, given how many onsen/bathhouse stuff being part of the culture, other than them having amazing luxury products for cheap or just better skin i'm surprised daily bathing wouldn't be too much on your skin versus a daily showering and only setting aside an hour of bathing for weekends or so (though i see the appeal of soaking in a hot bath after a long day of work in a 'black' company), i know there was a whole jdrama mini series about a girl taking a bath each ep (not in a fanservicey way just a slice of life thing)
