This acting thing is getting really intense, reminds of my favourite acting method related tip from Lord of Mysteries: "Remember that you are just acting." It's trying to say that while you do need the acting method to digest the potions, you shouldn't get carried away with it. It's for maintaining your humanity and identity.

I wonder how diff countries approach it b/c other than wild supernatural stuff, while there has also been 'natural' acting esp with kids i feel like i saw somewhere someone from a jdrama having advice on it either being overexaggerated on purpose so 'you can tell they're acting' though that might not work for a story more grounded in reality versus anime plots

it makes me think of that robert pattinson quote of 'you never see someone method act as a nice person, it's always assholes' or so
