I really wish that it was just that easy to deradicalize someone, but if that was true they probably wasn't that radical to begin with.
Sometimes they just need to touch grass or talk to someone. Loneliness creates easy marks for these organizations..

I'd say the term "radical" is not suited for the situation, since it usually denotes being against the norms/status quo (hence Marxists are considered radical).

The guy is indoctrinated from young, especially in an era that has yet developed political science.

As history lover i really love this Series. But minor nitpicking and i know they at war..but from the look of it they still haven't "invent" agriculture, i know the glass girl did bring some goat but meat alone can't help them much in war..if they have grain they probably have lot of advantage in supply since armies march with their stomachs and also making them less relying on hunter gathering and making their population goes boom

I wouldn't say it was easy, he had to be beaten down a couple times, captured twice, become scared to death of his enemy, become witness of their success, intelligence and strength, be betrayed by his comrades and finally get the reveal that his most secret belief was not a secret to his enemies, only to his allies.

Yuka is hitting a Neanderthal caveman with Socrates' philosophy 😄 That guy never stood a fighting chance debating against her.
