It's a classic, and can easily be done in ways that some might dislike today, but I love these stories. Action/adventure stories where the main character is a young man whose primary motivation is to rescue a girl who means a lot to him, or to protect her, or to help her reach a destination. I especially like the older or old-fashioned ones, but I'm cool even with brand new content.

Some examples include:
Tokyo Underground: The MC lived a normal life until he met Ruri, a girl from a hidden city beneath Tokyo built to research people with elemental powers. The "Company" that runs Underground wants her back for her special powers, and much of the story is about him either trying to protect her or much more often trying to reach her and get her out and to the surface once more.
The Severing Crime Edge: Centered around a boy who discovers that the old scissors he has possess strange powers similar to a number of other people descended from serial killers. His one and only objective is to protect Iwai, a girl he meets whom all the other "Authors" are seeking because if they can kill her they'll get a wish granted, no matter how impossible.
Elemental Gelade: more of a "guide" or "escort" story, but still a story where the entire focus of the main character is on the girl, her well being and getting her to her destination. The two of them are able to do a sort of fusion dance that turns her into a magic weapon, and he fights all kinds of people that are after her while trying to help her get to a distant place called the "Edil Garden" (the fan translations translated "Edil" as "Eden").

hm.. it's kinda vague about the extent of the MC's motivation.
Like the old Flame of Recca and Tsubasa RESERVoir ?
do you count Tokyo Revengers?
arguably a lot of isekai stories like Kekkon Yubiwa,

"means a lot to him" doesn't always mean love interest, right?
So for the sisters, there's Isekai Munchkin, FF Lost Stranger,

I kinda want to add UQ Holder, tho I'm not sure if it counts
Same with Ottoman, Yuukiarumono Yori Chire, MoMo the blood taker, Moscow 2160, Colorless
(also they're all old men),

There's not much action in Elf to Shuryoushi, but his motivation is for the girl

For newer stuff...
putting Kaiten no Albus is a bit spoiler-ish,
personal favorite Majo to Youhei
